Bird's Nest Snake Plant (Dracaena trifasciata 'Hahnii Green')
Dracaena trifasciata 'Hahnii Green' (syn. Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii Green') is the green-form Bird's Nest Snake Plant. It forms a compact, low rosette of stiff succulent leaves with medium-to-dark green coloring and natural pale green horizontal banding. Unlike Golden Hahnii and other yellow-margined forms, 'Hahnii Green' does not have gold or yellow leaf edges. Grown in a 4-inch nursery pot, it stays compact and adapts well to indoor containers.
Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the rosette dense and the green banding clear, though it tolerates lower indoor light. Avoid prolonged harsh midday sun unless the plant has been gradually acclimated.
Water: Allow the potting mix to dry completely between thorough waterings. Water less often during cooler or lower-light periods; constantly damp soil can cause root and crown rot.
Soil: Use a fast-draining, highly porous cactus or succulent mix in a container with drainage.
